An innovative new healthy eating initiative for its younger guests, FoodieKiDS is packed with nutritious and enticing dishes developed especially for little ones. In celebration of this year’s All Hallows’ Eve, Dhow & Anchor, the resort’s family-favourite British gastropub, is making some frighteningly fun additions…Guests are invited to try out its terrifying trio of wholesome and creative Halloween-inspired dishes that will fuel and inspire their amazing imaginations. From Spooky & Yummy Eyeballs to Ghost Burgers and Dracula’s Fang Cookies, FoodieKiDS x Halloween at Dhow & Anchor is sure to win the kids over and delight their taste buds. Available for lunch alongside a variety of regular FoodieKiDS fixtures,the new specials are a spooky celebration of the scariest weekend of the year, which will see the venue decked out and the team dressed up in their most inspired costumes. From 12:30pm – 3:30pm on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October, Dhow & Anchor will be serving up Halloween-themed food and beverages, while giving outprizes for the best dressed and trick or treat goodie bags for the kids.
Those wanting to try out FoodieKiDS can also head over to the family Pool for lunch or Kitchen Connection for dinner where a variety of dishes are available each day. Younger diners can choose from a range of fresh, delicious and nutritious options that combine varied and wholesome ingredients with theatre on a plate to not only nourish but also appeal to their creative imaginations. Dishes include Alphabet Soup, Mozzarella Pops, Chef’s Salad ‘Make Your Own’, Lumachine Bolognaise, Mini Roast, Fish & Chips ‘Locally Sourced’, Cookies & Cream, Watermelon Pizza and ‘Mess Me Up’ Eton Mess.
In celebration of FoodieKiDS’ launch, Jumeirah Beach Hotel is offering complimentary meals to kids under 12 when staying with their parents at the resort until 30 November 2020 on the Ultimate Staycation package. Families will also receive tickets to Wild Wadi for every member and access to the kids’ club and can enjoy the array of pools, kids water play area and pristine private beach– the ultimate formula for family fun.
The innovative new F&B concept follows extensive global research that was commissioned by Jumeirah, in which more than 5,500 parents of children under 12-years-old from six different countries were interviewed regarding their children’s eating habits. Jumeirah Group Chief Culinary Officer Michael Ellis said: “Dining is a key part of the Jumeirah guest experience and so we wanted to introduce this new concept for our young guests to give families the best possible experience and allow them to relax and live the moment during their stay with us.”
