The St. Regis Downtown, Dubai Launches A Sustainable Afternoon Tea In Partnership With Local Children’s Author, Ebtisam Al-Beiti

The St. Regis Downtown, Dubai has announced the launch of its Tiny Tea, an afternoon tea designed for little ones that embraces children’s literature and sustainability. Starting on 3rd November from 4.00pm – 5.00pm and taking place daily from 2pm to 6pm the Tiny Tea is in collaboration with local children’s author Ebtisam Al-Beiti, promoting her first book, “Can I Go Out Now?” that aims to educate little ones about current environmental and health issues in a fun and playful manner.

The St. Regis Downtown, Dubai celebrates cherished rituals of the St. Regis brand, seamlessly blending the brand’s heritage with the vibrancy of the distinguished Marasi drive property. The Tiny Tea will be hosted in The Library, which offers an elegant gathering place to enjoy a locally inspired take on the acclaimed signature St. Regis afternoon tea, an everyday ritual and an integral part of the St. Regis brand. The menu is 100% organic and locally sourced, made up of delicious dishes including Mini Eggplant Miso Parmigiana, Raspberry Gazpacho, Baby Tortilla Pumpkin and various dessert options such as Vanilla Chocolate Cake served with vegan cream and fresh berries, Mini Carrot Cupcake with gluten-free cream cheese and air-dried fresh carrots, as well as Chocolate Lollipopmade up of sugar-free chocolate ganache rolled with air-dried mango.

When booking the Tiny Tea, children will be gifted the first edition of ‘Can I Go Out Now?’ by Ebtisam Al Beiti, which was launched earlier in the year at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. The timely story takes children on an adventure with Little Earth, who really wants to go outside and play with his planet friends, but he can’t until he is feeling better and instead finds a colourful way to stay in touch with everyone.

Ebtisam Al-Beiti comments on the partnership, “I’m thrilled to be kickstarting The St. Regis Downtown, Dubai’s children’s literature afternoon tea, the Tiny Tea. Engaging children in stories and the act of reading for pleasure is so important to me, and finding fun and creative ways to do so is always very exciting. The St. Regis’ efforts to make the Tiny Tea sustainable would make Little Earth very happy and shows that you can still enjoy the finer things, while also taking care of the planet.”

The newly launched Tiny Tea is priced at AED 120 per child and includes a copy of the book. For more information, please visit stregisdowntowndubai.com.
