EXPERIENCE ARABIA FELIX AT THE SPA
To celebrate UAE National Day, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai Spashowcasesan utterly tranquil treatment that combines the invigorating raw ingredients from the ancient lands of the Southern Arabian Peninsula formerly known as Arabia Felix. Encompassing seven natural yet rejuvenating ingredients from seven seas, the Arabia Felix is a feast for the senses that holds true to its Arabian roots.
The Arabia Felix experience begins in a delicately lit room, surrounded by the calming incense of Bakhoor. Starting with the gentle exfoliation using a mixture of Dead Sea salt and sands derived from the Emirates, the feet and legs are then gently soaked and cleaned in warm relieving camel milk. Next, a calming complete back massage will ease away tension using the heated essential oils including Argan Oil from North Africa and the healing vapors of Frankincense. This luxurious ritual is completed with nourishing dates and hibiscus tea, to gentle refresh the senses and revitalize the body.

This December enjoy the delicacies from Lebanon including a “Sfiha” station – a popular dish consisting of flatbread cooked with a minced meat topping, often lamb flavored with onion, tomato, pine nuts, and spices. A “Taskiya station” is famous in Tripoli, Lebanon, consisting of chickpeas, crispy bread and yogurt, that is often enjoyed during family gatherings. Authentic main courses highlight “Sayadiyeh” (Pan-fried Barramundi fish and rice), “Daoud Basha” (Meatballs cooked in tomato salsa) and “WarakEnab” (stuffed vine leaves with lamb chops) to name a few, finished with homemade Cheese Kanafeh with Kaak.

Be welcomed with a customary saffron custard drink, and savour locally inspired dishes including the much-loved Lamb Ouzi, Harees or choose from chicken, fish or lamb Salona and the famous Mashawee – grilled meats and local seafood. Those with a sweet tooth can sample the sweet Logamat dumplings and AseedaBobar – an Emirati pumpkin pudding.
