As anticipation builds ahead of the release of ‘Pokémon: Detective Pikachu’, who better to help Rove Hotels announce its exciting new Pokémon Scavenger Hunt than Detective Pikachu himself. On Saturday, May 4th, Ryme City comes to Rove Downtown and sets the stage for a meet-&greet with a difference. Rovers will have the chance to interact with the legendary Pokémon character and join in the electrifying celebration, ahead of the highly anticipated release of the movie, which will be showing at Reel Boutique from May 9th onwards.
Rove is challenging Rovers to find as many Pokémon as they can across all five hotels as part of the Pokémon Scavenger Hunt, from May 4th to 11th. Once you’ve found one of the elusive Pokémon, snap a picture with it, post the image on Social Media and get tagging @RoveHotels with #PokemonRove. For every Pokémon found, there is a corresponding special prize; the rarer the Pokémon, the bigger the prize:
- Find Charizard or Detective Pikachu and win a free stay for two at any Rove Hotel
- Find Bulbasaur and win a free iftar for two
- Find Jigglypuff and win a pair of cinema tickets
- Find Snubbull and win a coffee at The Daily
But that’s not all! From Thursday, May 9th onwards, the Reel Boutique – Rove Downtown’s very own licensed 46-seater cinema – will be showing ‘Pokémon: Detective Pikachu’, so Rovers can grab their popcorn and spend a fun-filled night watching the worldwide phenomenon, Rove style. After a busy day Roving around the city in search of Pokémon, the last thing you need is the stress of long cinema queues and a crowded theatre.
