Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa will be hosting a number of celebrations throughout December, kicking off with the UAE’s National Day combined with the resort’s 15^th anniversary. As the festive season approaches, the destination will be hosting a spectacular tree lighting ceremony on 6^th December, as well as gastronomic brunch on 25^th December. For New Year’s, guests can choose from an array of options; with extravagant dinners at Al Forsan Garden, Al Hadheerah and Al Sarab. To kick off 2020, a New Year’s Day Garden brunch will be served to those who would like to begin their year by savouring exquisite cuisine.

48^th UAE National Day & Bab Al Shams 15^th Anniversary 

Diners looking to celebrate National Day and the resort’s anniversary can feast on Arabic delicacies from live cooking stations at Al Hadheerah. Along with a magnificent feast, live entertainment and a grand firework displays, which will add to the vibrant atmosphere. Visitors will be able to wander through a heritage village and museum to learn about Arab culture and tradition, while children can enjoy camel, horse and pony rides. Suitable for friends and family, Al Hadheerah caters to everyone; the amazing night will end on a sweet note with a National Day cake cutting celebration.

Tree Lighting  

Bab Al Shams will officially mark the festive period with a tree-lighting ceremony. Guests will wander into a whimsical world, filled with carol singing, winter pies, cookies, hot chocolate and mulled wine. A special appearance will be made by a jolly old man in red to add just a touch of magic for the little ones.
