Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa will be hosting a spectacular tree lighting ceremony on 6th December, from 6pm to 7.30pm, to kick off its festive season. The luxury desert resort invites guests to its lush gardens and scenic views at the Al Forsan Garden, for an event full of celebratory cheer, winter goodies, a seasonal souq and delicious beverages. Admission for kids is AED 50, with free entrance for adults accompanying children.
Guests will wander into a whimsical world, filled with festivities, winter pies, cookies, hot chocolate and the magical lighting of the grand tree. Little ones will be entertained by a special appearance by the jolly old man in red, as he adds a touch of charm to the atmosphere. Santa will make a grand entrance on camel-back, surrounded by his elves who will hand out gifts to the children. The memorable night will be commemorated with a Christmas dance and a showstopping fireworks display set against the starry desert sky. Visitors can also enjoy a performance by the children’s choir where everyone is welcome to join in and take part in the merrymaking.
In addition to the tree lighting ceremony, Bab Al Shams will be celebrating the festive season with a variety of activities. On 25thDecember, those looking for a festive brunch can return to Al Forsan and tuck into a delicious roast turkey with all the trimmings. From 1.00pm to 5.00pm starting at only AED 495, there will be surprises and games for the little ones and a relaxing atmosphere for the adults, the brunch is sure to be an exceptional experience.
To ring in 2020, diners have the option of celebrate the new year with three exclusives experiences on the night, from a New Year’s feast at Al Hadheerah, starting at AED 1,200 from 8.00pm to 3.00am. Guests also choose to dine under the stars Al Forsan at a price of AED 550 from 8.00pm to 3.00am; or have memorable dinner overlooking magnificent desert landscape at the Al Sarab Lounge, starting at AED 250 from 8.00pm to 3.00am.
Bab Al Shams also offers brunch-goers a family style Garden Brunch on 1st January 2020, where they can discover sumptuous outdoor and indoor live cooking stations. From 1.00pm to 5.00pm at a price of just AED 395, the relaxing atmosphere is complemented by live performances making for a beautiful afternoon.
