The Meydan Hotel, Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa and The Track, Meydan Golf have recently received the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification, recognizing the efficient management and the high quality assurance systems of its products and services.
To achieve the ISO 9001:2015, an external audit was conducted by the ISO accredited entity ‘intertek’ to Meydan Hotels and Hospitality properties covering provision of hotels, restaurants, leisure, spa, sports, banquet halls, conference and events at The Meydan Hotel, Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, as well as management and operation at The Track, Meydan Golf to evaluate and confirm that these establishments meet international standards.
Prior to the audit, every property was required to fulfil a list of international criteria, related to various aspects including standardisation, learning and development, competency development, easy access to knowledge, customer satisfaction and dependency on procedures, which are revised every year.
