Ghaya Grand Hotel, Dubai’s premier and ultimate urban oasis and modern hideaway, joined the culinary community in the UAE to set a new Guinness World Record in serving the largest variety of desserts at Umm Al Emarat Park, Abu Dhabi on December 7, 2019.
Ghaya Grand Hotel has collaborated with World of Food Abu Dhabi, The Emirates Culinary Guild, World Associations of Chefs Societies, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and other hospitality brands to create this monumental achievement for the UAE’s hospitality industry. Ghaya Grand Hotel’s skilled culinary team prepared 50 different types of colorful and artistic pastries which was made available for public consumption and distributed to hospitality workers to avert food wastage.

The World of Food Abu Dhabi successfully served a total of 2,586 unique desserts in 10,056 servings, surpassing the previous record of 2,234.
