Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown,the UAE’s first boutique hotel, is hosting a unique ‘Art Meets Fashion’pop-up from 20th – 22nd May in collaboration with leading CIS designers from top fashion shows including Kazakhstan Fashion Week, Oriental Fashion Show, Georgian Designers, Azerbaijan Fashion Week and Tajikistan Fashion Week.
Renowned for its distinguished events and artistic gatherings, Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown will yet again be showering a pop of color and creativity upon the UAE residents through an inspiring new pop-up that aims to unify the biggest fashion weeks from CIS countries. The three-day pop-up will bring together well-known designers, influencers, brands and collections from the world of fashion including–Datuna, Dinara Satzhan, Temo Cherie, Georges, Salle de Mode, Aida Kaumenova, Adili, Tatiana Fokina, Elmyra Batyrova, Nafisa Imranova, Atelier L’Artisan, alongside many others.
A series of masterclasses and public talks with well-known industry personalities will be hosted, during the pop-up days, with a main focus to educate and encourage dialogues between guests and panelists about hot topics like personal branding, creative content creation along with many other industry topics. Also, witness a live painting event with Dasha Lapushka featuring “Squirshoes”, a unique technique used by the artist to create a series of art canvases using luxurious shoes instead of brushes.
Bringing art to this fashionable event is Paris-born digital and mixed media artist – Chloé Robin a.k.a Azaidé, showcasing a series of exclusive portraits of independent and strong women titled – ‘Couture Divas’. Each portrait conveys a unique story that is inspired by a diversity of cultures, fusing vintage and modern codes into an authentic traditional wear.
Chloé will also be leading an art workshop, alongside designer Natalya Konforti, on all three days, allowing guests to learn the artists’ skillful techniques whilst customizing their own vintage photograph with embroidery.
