Located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah, Jumeriah Zabeel Saray, a member of Jumeirah Group, in collaboration with 7 Art Gallery, will host the renowned exhibition “Lagerfeld, the Chanel Shows” by Simon Procter, from 16 November till 18 December 2022.
Offering a glimpse of the backstage work of the legendary fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld from his popular Chanel runway shows, the exhibition will feature an exclusive series of images capturing the energy and essence from the behind the scenes taken by the lens of the renowned photographer Simon Procter.
Bringing the photographs to life, the exclusive prints will be displayed at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray’s central lobby, under one of the world’s largest Bohemian crystal chandeliers. Inspired by Lagerfeld and Chanel timeless fashion, Simon Procter’s art and Jumeirah Zabeel Saray luxury, a limited-edition special afternoon tea “The Expression Afternoon Tea”, will be curated for guests across the duration of the exhibition to celebrate this special art event.

Large-scale photographs will be exhibited across the expansive lobby area at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Proctor has recreated his shots and combined multiple photographs to create the uniquely illustrative pieces offering a distinctive perspective and glimpse into Lagerfeld’s life, work and legacy.
The tribute to fashion’s most respected and symbolic designer Karl Lagerfeld, was exhibited for the first time in September 2019 during Paris Fashion Week.
