Following an exciting redesign inspired by Arabian hospitality and French architecture, Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach reopened on the 1st of October 2020.The brand new hotel lobby adorned with blue and brown accents is contemporary yet warm and welcoming. At the entrance, an abstract illustration of the Dubai skyline has been created with an accent wall along with a ceiling coffer for grandeur, creating an urban sophistication with a Mediterranean chic. The design consists of beige and blue marble tile décor; the beige tiles reminding guests of Dubai’s desert sands, while flashes of blue marble evoke gemstones found in the Arabian Gulf.
The Retail Avenue
The hotel has created an enhanced retail experience with elegant arches and facades to bring the French style luxury to the lobby. This is in keeping with the atmosphere of the “The Walk”, the cornucopia of International restaurants, the heart of fashion retail and beachside boulevard for strolling.
Exciting new dining experiences
As a part of the six-month long renovation, two extraordinary dining experiences are being created. An all day dining concept created with the introduction of classical oversized French panels brings a French café experience to a luxurious space.
Furthermore, the creation of a modern French Brasserie is a time capsule of “La Belle Époque”. Black and white retro photographs have been used here to enhance the French Brasserie element. The Brasserie here, although a thing of the past still preserves the details and offers a fresh update to provide a fulfilling experience to the modern generations.
