The Birth of Venus is a truly iconic masterpiece and it’s clear to see why. In Greek mythology Venus, who was created from the white sea foam is blown towards the shore on a large scallop shell by the breath of two wind-Gods, whilst a nymph waits on dry land to cover her in a pink, flower adorned cloak. These elements have been woven into both the Valentine’s dinner menu at both Vanitas and Enigma.

Vanitas provides the setting for a wonderfully romantic meal with Un Viaggiod’Amore, a 4-course Journey of Love including dishes such as Scallops gratin, Belgium endive, orange flavour and coffee crumble and Wagu beef ravioli, red wine reduction, Sicilian red prawns and roasted celeriac. Dessert wraps the experience up deliciously with Perle del Mare – Vanilla Bavarian, strawberry compote, litchi foam and pistachio coral.

Enigma Persian Restaurant
Enigma puts its creative Persian spin on A Never Ending Love Story starting with Sabzi Khordan (roasted Persian bread, olives, pickles, herbs with walnuts and homemade Persian cheese), followed by an array of cold and warm starters. The main course serves up Kubideh& Beef Kabab Torsh grilled on charcoal and saffron rice and Confit corn fed chicken with warm pomegranate freekeh salad and jus. End the love story on the sweetest note of all with The Mille Feuillewith rose petal vanilla, compress cinnamon apple compote & passion fruit pearls and Pistachio Baklava served with milky ice-cream & frozen angel hair, that symbolizes the cascading locks of Venus as she was blown in on her scallop shell.
