Millennium Central Downtown, situated at the heart of Downtown Dubai, distributed 200 lunch boxes to Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) taxi drivers.
The initiative comes as part of the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme and represents the first CSR activity conducted under the hotel new name.
Last month, M Hotel Downtown by Millennium started to operate under the newest brand to Millennium Hotels & Resorts portfolio ‘Millennium Central’ that is created with a focus on the details that make a difference to its guests’ stay – what makes it convenient, which makes it efficient and what makes it enjoyable.
The initiative also provided RTA taxi drivers with the opportunity to become more familiar with Millennium Central Downtown’s location when dropping off and picking up hotel guests.
Cornelia Erhardt, the General Manager of Millennium Central Downtown led the distribution, which started at 11am. Each box comprised chicken biryani, fruit and a water bottle, prepared by the hotel’s culinary team.
